Under the patronage of Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Conscience International Organization for Human Rights, the Alexandria International Film Festival management was honored. This came in recognition of the festival’s important role in highlighting artistic works, supporting talented young people, and honoring artistic figures for their work, which has helped raise intellectual, cultural, social, economic, and political awareness, and addressed issues of concern to society at all levels. The festival is also one of the most prominent events held in Alexandria Governorate, which requires the cooperation of all concerned parties and civil society to advance it. I extend my thanks and appreciation to all those in charge of the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries for everything they have done to present the festival in a manner befitting the Bride of the Mediterranean.
