Under the patronage of Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Global Conscience Organization for Human Rights worldwide, Captain Paul Emile Zeitoun, Director of the organization’s branch in Lebanon, met with Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri, the General Coordinator of the National Campaign for the Return of Syrian Refugees Captain Maroun Al-Khouli, Mr. Carlos Abi Nader, Mukhtar of Zouk Mikael, and a delegation of campaign members. The Director of the organization’s branch presented a memorandum that included strategic proposals to address this issue decisively and sustainably, to achieve a safe and orderly return of displaced persons in line with the constitutional directives of the presidential oath of office and the ministerial statement, the recommendations of the Parliament, and international agreements. He commented: The continuation of the crisis represents an existential threat to Lebanon on the economic, social, and security levels.
