Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Global Conscience Organization for Human Rights, met with a number of students from the October Higher Institute of Economics and Political Science in the City of Culture and Science. This meeting was based on a letter addressed to the organization by:
Professor Dr. Howayda Aboul Gheit, Dean of the Institute.
This meeting was part of the ongoing cooperation between universities, higher education institutions, and civil society organizations to promote the concept of human rights. The meeting was held to provide students with the necessary information to complete their academic research within the framework of the Human Rights Curriculum. Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Organization, stated that scientific research is the hope of peoples. In order to enjoy well-being, which is represented by achieving comfort in all its forms for humankind, and finding solutions to the various dilemmas facing societies, whether on the scientific or societal level. There is no doubt that the standard of civilization of nations is measured by the extent of their interest in scientific research and the financial resources spent to establish a state of science. In this regard, studies indicate that the progress of countries is directly proportional to the development of scientific research and the extent of interest in it by officials.
