Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Global Conscience Organization for Human Rights worldwide, expressed his strong condemnation of these extremist calls, which represent a blatant provocation of the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world. He stressed the need to immediately halt all violations within the Noble Sanctuary. The organization emphasized the sanctity of any attack on Islamic and Christian religious sanctities in Jerusalem, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop these Israeli violations that contravene international law. Al-Aqsa Mosque holds a special place in the hearts of all Muslims, as this mosque was the place to which the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was taken on the Night Journey. The story is mentioned in the Quran, as God Almighty says at the beginning of Surat Al-Isra, “Glory be to Him who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed.” Therefore, I call on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to ensure full international protection for religious sanctities.
