Under the auspices of Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Global Conscience Organization for Human Rights, Legal Advisor Khalaf El-Sayed, Director of the Organization’s branch in Sohag Governorate, visited the West District and met with Ms. Farida Sayed Salam, Head of the West Sohag District. The problem of Arabism (safwa division) was discussed, which is one of the most important problems in the West Sohag District. The problem was resolved by 90% within fifteen days. We also discussed the development of informal settlements, and she informed us about the development of Al-Huwaiti, Al-Omari, the Automatic Bakery, the Rashid District, and the Al-Shaheed area, as well as the restructuring, coordination, and inventory of residential increases at a cost of two and a half million pounds. Al-Aref Square was also developed with a future urban boom. A protocol was drawn up to create a park under the Al-Huwaiti Bridge, and three new parks were built, and work has begun on them, in the presence of:
