Dr. Mina Youhanna, President of the Global Conscience Organization for Human Rights, mourned the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, emphasizing that he left a great legacy that will remain etched in the conscience of humanity.
Youhanna explained that Pope Francis was an exceptional global figure who dedicated his life to serving the values ​​of peace and justice, and tirelessly worked to promote tolerance and understanding between religions, and build bridges of dialogue between peoples.

He pointed out that His Holiness the Pope was a sincere supporter of the Palestinian cause and a defender of legitimate rights. He also never hesitated to call on leaders to end the conflicts in South Sudan, calling for a just and lasting peace throughout the world.

The President of the Global Conscience Organization emphasized that Pope Francis consistently advocated for social justice in his sermons, criticizing governments that fail to care for the poorest. He also condemned the brutal war in Ukraine, considering it absurd, and sharply criticized the Russian narrative.

He pointed out that the Pope did not hesitate to criticize former US President Donald Trump’s plan to deport migrants, describing it as a “shame.” He also praised Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian cause, and provided tangible support in the amount of $500,000 to assist migrants in Mexico, embodying his noble humanitarian principles.
